Bees had accessed one of the sealed chimney covers and set up home. From what appear to have been home for more than 3 or 4 years. We were able to access the chimney with assistance from our scaffolding partners Tubetech Scaffolding. Once we had started to carefully remove the comb and collect up the bees we came across the Queen. She was an absolute beauty. We managed to collect all the bees and and the comb and brood and then proofed the 3 pots to ensure no further issues in the future.
