Well, this morning we had another call to remove an old wasp nest. This one was from last year. Wasps never refuse the nest at all. However, the Queen Wasps that were born last year sometime overwinter in the same roof space. Generally speaking, the old nests are easily removed, but you have to think about the overwintering queens. 

In this case, we removed the nest and then proceeded to Fog the loft area with an insecticide. This then ensures that the loft is clear of overwintering queens by killing them off before they do damage.
